INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing the following duties:
1) Effectively communicate in writing and/or orally with customers to ensure clarity and aid in successful completion of a construction project; 2) Conducting meetings and/or discussions during construction phase of projects to ensure communication of project status and/or clarify any misunderstanding of project scope; 3) Reviewing and/or interpreting construction contract drawing and specification requirements to ensure compliance with policies, regulations and codes; 4) Preparing high level complexity construction cost estimates under the mentorship of a licensed Construction Manager in support of pre-negotiation positions for project changes requiring modifications to the contract cost; and 5) Providing technical recommendations/solutions to issues encountered on project site to minimize project scope under the mentorship of a Construction Manager. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
