SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR

Basic Requirements Degree:
behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirements for this position, Providing individual screening to assess for substance abuse disorders not to exclude participating in group counseling education, workshops, initial assessment and/or crisis intervention for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders; Utilizing substance abuse treatment stratagems, procedures and principles to provide substance counseling and rehabilitative services to individuals, families and groups with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders; Implementing current pertinent rehabilitation counseling methods and techniques, as well as chemically related behavioral and social problems to include their effects on individuals and others; Marinating informative and up-to-date patient charts with respect to the development, writing and implementing individual treatment plan of narrative summaries; and Utilizing established governmental and Civilians recovery substance abuse treatment services/programs, (i.e. DoD Services, US Navy, Veterans Administration, Joint Services, Civilian and Twelve Steps), for individuals and others to aid in the delivery of substance abuse services and treatment. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
