I have the ability to perform the full range of Materials Examiner and Identifier tasks to provide property reutilization/disposal services to ensure maximum utilization of Government Property including receiving, verifying, sorting and classifying a variety of excess, damaged or expired Government Property; determining appropriate storage and protection of items to prevent condition deterioration; reviewing incoming material for presence of environmental hazardous materials and items containing toxic properties; screening documents against consolidated hazardous item list for type of hazard, required safety precautions and stowage requires; locating property in reportable or non-reportable, demilitarized, or hazardous areas according to designation and assigning warehouse location; tagging material selected for reutilization, transfer, and donation and relocate property to selected staging area; researching and reconciling discrepancies; ensuring all cargo is properly packaged and labeled for shipment (including Hazardous Material); coordinating and completing all documentation; and operating material handling equipment including forklifts. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
