Plant Manager

Job Description  Manages, directs and coordinates overall plant operations. Through subordinates, supervisors, and managers assures safety, quality, service and production objectives are met within cost standards. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assures that organizational production objectives are met.- Monitor and direct daily and ongoing plant operations- Address production, quality, personnel, safety, customer, and regulatory issues in a timely fashion as required. Ensure all plant personnel are operating in compliance with plant and corporate procedures.  Address any non-compliance immediately.- Ensure that plant is operating in compliance with all customer and government regulations (USDA, State, FDA, OSHA, EPA).- Responsible for assuring the plant and products meet customer specifications.- Assist in developing andresponsible forbudgets, capital projects, policies and procedures.- Maintain andsupport prescribed programs of employee relations, health and safety, training and development,compensation and benefits for all employees in the plant.- Use P&L results and key performance indicators to improve plant performance and profitability. - Conduct frequent meetings with plant staff weekly to ensure all operational issues are being communicated and addressed expediently with a common understanding of goals- Communicate and escalate plant operations status with VP andDirector of Operations- Expected to be involved with outside organizations as a vehicle to keep the company informed of industry changes and demonstrate that our company is a leader in the industry- Interact with customers to meet their expectations on operational and quality objectives.- Expected to work therequired hours needed to execute the duties andresponsibilities of the plant manager position and set an exemplary example for all the employees.- Any and all other duties assigned.- Attend corporate meetings concerning safety, quality and operations.- Attend seminars to develop skills need to improve job performance.- Coordinate plant tours with customers.- Follow all GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.- Promote a Continuous Improvement culture andassociated activities in pursuit of Word Class- Back up to/from QA Manager and Operations Manager in his / her absence. Assignment will be determined at time ofevent. Requirements Bachelor's of Science in an applicable discipline. Minimum of 10 years in a management roll, in a plant environment. Minimum of twelve (12) years in a food-processing environment, minimum of 5 years in dry milk production Knowledge and experience with a CI methodology. Ability to understand P&L reports Ability to use P&L results and Key Performance Indicators (KPI"S) to improve plant performance. Ability to problem solve using the combined talents of various individuals within the organization. Excellent team building skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task Ability to interact in a positive way with all personnel and with our customers. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
