Electronics Technician III
FTSS Joint Venture, a joint venture between Dae Sung, LLC and LB&B Associates Inc., is seeking candidates for a full-time Electronics Technician III for its contract to provide CNRFC Contractor Operations & Maintenance Services in Fallon, NV.
Minimum experience shall be exclusive of formalized training and include six (6) years simulator maintenance of which two (2) years demonstrate complex maintenance skills to include the ability to study and translate schematic drawings, troubleshooting complex circuits, component level repair, complex visual systems, and computer and network management. A Technician III shall be a graduate from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute, or completed factory/formal training on the devices comparable to the JCAS / JTAC / CAVE training systems. A Technician III must also possess working knowledge of administering and managing computer operating systems, microcomputer hardware and software in the Windows, Linux, Sun, Solaris, IRIX and Red Hat environments, including installation of operating systems, software patches including implementation of software backups, software security maintenance and antivirus IA requirements, and software upgrades as required. Technician must have demonstrated knowledge and experience using and installing networking equipment such as switches, routers and firewalls and must have a working knowledge and familiarity with applicable IA instructions and practices. Current certification in Security PLUS (Security+), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) is required. Multiple certifications are a plus. Finally, technician must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance
