Five years technical experience with complex hardware environment
Three years' experience in Configuration Management (CM)
Two years' experience in technical publications and documentation
Knowledgeable of Government and Military publications, drawing standards, and filing systems
Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, and technical drawings for electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with MS Office Suite, AutoCad, and OrCad (or equivalent).
Experience with ANSI Y14-2000 standards for technical drawings.
Experience with configuration/version control of software programs.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Qualify for and Maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Job Description: Provides engineering and configuration management and maintains the CM process for the CTTR and the Fallon Tactical Training Range (FTTR), to include evaluating and monitoring of all modifications to equipment or facilities, generating change requests to improve operability/reliability/maintainability, and ensuring applicable CM standards are imposed on vendors, subcontractors and suppliers. Under direction of the Engineering Manager/Supervisor, develops, implements and maintains CM Plan in accordance with the Engineering and Configuration Management Plan and in compliance with ANSI/EIA 649.
Establishes and maintains, under change control procedures, the CM database to include a complete set of System Specifications, Software Design Documents, Interface Design Documents, Test Plans, Operators Manuals, Software Users Manuals, and Software Programmers Manuals. Maintains a database of all configuration items in the operational inventory to include the current configuration status. Maintains all WCTTR Plans, Procedures and Work Instructions. Supports development of the DMSMS database, and, when complete, maintains the database; controls all database changes in conjunction with CM database data so that system parts data accurately reflect actual items in each system.
Coordinates and reviews change proposals. Implements approved changes to include supporting documentation, technical manuals, modification of repair parts, interfacing equipment, and software.
Maintains CM procedures to ensure no unauthorized changes are made, to include subcontractors. Initiates Change Proposals (CPs), Specification Change Notices (SCN), requests for waiver, and Notices of Revision (NORs). Incorporates all changes to operator/maintenance manuals. Produces approved Temporary Engineering Changes (TECs).
Provides training assistance through on-the-job training (OJT) as required. Reviews reports and confers with Operations, Maintenance, Management and Engineering personnel to solve work-related problems.
Uses the IEMS to capture engineering tasking data, update tasking documentation, and maintain document control.
