ED Description: Annual Volume of 16,300. 10 beds, 1 trauma room, 4 bed cardiac bays; 5 exam rooms; second waiting room in the back for split flow model during PA hours. Admit rate is 11% with a transfer rate of 6.5%. ED uses Cerner/ First Net Product.
Providers will work in 12-hour shifts with 12 hours of APC coverage per day.
Specialty Backup: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Family Medicine and Hospitalist Service
Ancillary Service: Lab 24/7, Respiratory Therapy 24/7, DI-Xray, CT 24/7, Pharmacy on site with Monday - Friday hours and on call at nights/weekends

: Rural community 60 miles east of Reno and just 80 miles east of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Churchill County is a strong Agricultural community which is also home to the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (TOP GUN) , The Paiute-Shoshone Tribe of the Fallon Reservation and Colony; Population Aprox 8,000 within the city limits, 25,000 within Churchill county and also servicing large portions of Lyon County; 60 miles to trauma center in Reno.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
