DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST 2 - Underfill

The Position
Developmental Specialists provide individual and group clinical, developmental and support services for individuals of all ages who have, or who may be at risk for, developmental delays, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities or related conditions, and social, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders.
Under general supervision, incumbents continue to receive training and gain experience in performing the duties described in the series concept. The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a full time Developmental Specialist 2-Underfill position in Fallon, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program:
Rural Regional Center (RRC) and will underfill for the Developmental Specialist 3.
Incumbents will apply a solution-based mindset that quickly identifies potential roadblocks, manages, and resolves conflicts, grievances, confrontations, or disagreements, develop, and propose person centered solutions, resolve unique or challenging situations, and confer with management for implementation as needed. Developmental Specialists may be assigned to one of many specialized programs and facilities, and duties may be performed in the home, clinic, hospital, residential, outpatient, and community facilities, or similar settings. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
